Peer Advocates

Madison Youth and Family Services' Peer Advocates is a program for high school age youth who are interested in helping their peers. The training sessions facilitate self-awareness, understanding, communication skills, and knowledge of resources relating to young people.

Reach Out
Reach Out is a program designed and activated by Peer Advocates to welcome and support students entering DHHS from other schools and school systems. Meetings are held in August, before school opens, with follow-up during September and October. The program is run in collaboration with the DHHS Guidance Department.
