NEW BUSINESS

5. Discuss and take action on setting the mill rate for the 2017-2018 fiscal year.  

6. Discussion Baseball Fields, Town of Madison. 

7. Discuss and take action to approve the purchase of a 16 passenger/2 wheel chair bus for Senior Services. The total purchase price is $63,850.00; funds in the amount of $51,080 are from Section 5310 Grant from State DOT and funds in the amount of $12,770 are from the 16/17 CIP.

8. Discuss and take action to approve a proposal between The Town of Madison and M-Core Credit Corporation for the financing of the Eversource LED Lighting energy savings project. The total financing amount is $149,212.73 to be paid in 48 monthly installments of $3,108.60, based on a rate of 0.0% interest. 

9. Discuss and take action to approve a Special Appropriation request from the Facilities Department in the amount of $45,000 for converting 27 streetlights to LED’s. 

10. Discuss and take action to approve a Special Appropriation request from the Facilities Department in the amount of $14,000 for hydrants and water mains.  

11. Discuss and take action to approve a Municipal Lease Purchase Agreement between the Town of Madison and Motorola Solutions, Inc. to include the refinancing of Phase II original lease and Phase III additional work. 

12. Discuss and take action to approve a Special Appropriation request from the Police Department in the amount of $48,532 for the Phase II site work contingency.

13. Discuss and take action to approve a Special Appropriation request in the amount of $60,000 to fund the OT – Special Duty Police Department Account (pending Town Meeting approval).  

14. Discuss and take action to approve changes to the Board of Finance Policies and Procedures Section 2, Appropriations to Reserve and Capital Projects Funds. 

15. The following line transfers are designated as routine and appropriate for approval as a single action by the Board of Selectmen, if so desired.  A board member may request removal of any line transfer item from the consent agenda for review and discussion.

Motion:  To approve Line Transfers totaling $195,068.92.
