NEW BUSINESS

5. Discuss and take action to approve calling a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the Shoreline Greenway Trail expansion project

6. Discuss and take action on the hiring of Chris Secondino to the position of Grounds Maintainer, UPSEU Building & Grounds, Beach & Recreation with a start date to be determined.  This is a Union position with a starting rate of pay of $21.41 per hour.  The position is budgeted and replaces a vacancy due to resignation. 

7. Discuss and take action to approve a Special Appropriation request from the Facilities Department in the amount of $14,000 for hydrants and water mains.  

8. Discuss and take action to approve a proposal between The Town of Madison and M-Core Credit Corporation for the financing of the Eversource LED Lighting energy savings project. The total financing amount is $166,235.36 to be paid in 48 monthly installments of $3,463.24, based on a rate of 0.0% interest

9. Discuss and take action to approve a Municipal Lease Purchase Agreement between the Town of Madison and Motorola Solutions, Inc. to include the refinancing of Phase II original lease and additional work. 



10. Discuss and take action to approve a Special Appropriation request from the Police Department in the amount of $48,532 for the Phase II site work contingency.

11. Discuss and take action to approve a Special Appropriation request in the amount of $60,000 to fund the OT – Special Duty Police Department Account (pending Town Meeting approval).  

12. Discuss and take action to call a Town Meeting on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in Town Campus Room A to approve: 

1. A Special Appropriation request in the amount of $60,000 to fund the OT – Special Duty Police Department Account. 

2. Other Special Appropriations as deemed necessary. 

13. Discuss and take action to approve awarding the bid for the trash removal for the Town of Madison to Sweitzer Waste Removal the cost for the 17-18 FY is $34,000. 

14. Discuss the Ryerson School Project Bond Resolution. 

15. Discuss and take action to approve the resignation of Mark Ferris from the Inland Wetlands Commission. 

16. The following line transfers are designated as routine and appropriate for approval as a single action by the Board of Selectmen, if so desired.  A board member may request removal of any line transfer item from the consent agenda for review and discussion.

Motion:  To approve Line Transfers totaling $214,568.92.
