Owner: 137 Cottage Road, LLC.; Applicant: Robert E. Dowler. Special Exception Permit Modification to allow 20 one-bedroom units and 14 two-bedroom rental units, four units to be rented at “below market rates”. Approved.17-32. Regulation Amendment. Applicant: Madison Planning & Zoning Commission. RS District. Zone Boundary Change to expand the boundaries of the Rural Shopping District (RS District) northerly across Route 80 to include 503 Old Toll Road (Map 143, Lot 20) and 515 Old Toll Road (Map 143, Lot 20-1), southerly on the east side of Route 79 to include 1272 Durham Road (Map 134, Lot 11), 1260 Durham Road (Map 134, Lot 12), and 1250 Durham Road (Map 134, Lot 13), and to the southern property line of 508 Old Toll Road (Map 134, Lot 8). Regulation Amendments to Section 6.3 to add Private Veterinary Hospitals and Landscaping and Earth Care Services to uses that require Special Exception Review, to establish additional requirements for those uses, and to require a 30 foot buffer on each side and rear lot line abutting property outside of the RS District.
