Assessment AppealsThe Board of Assessment Appeals holds their hearings during the month of March. In order to be heard, a Petition must be filed in the Assessor's Office before February 20. We must have the actual form with an original signature by February 20th (No postmarks). If you are unable to attend and would like to send an agent to represent you, an Agent's Form must also be filed. If you need an Agent's Form, please contact the Assessor's Office or download the form below. Forms Petition to the Board of Assessment AppealsMadison Town Charter Section 6.2 Board of Assessment Appeals There shall be a Board of Assessment Appeals consisting of five (5) members who shall be elected for four-year terms.
