Board Organization

Following a regular election, the members of the Board elect a chairman who presides over its meetings. In addition, the Board may elect members as Secretary and Vice Chairman to assist in the management of the Board activities.

From time to time, the Board may be asked to name a member to an ad-hoc committee of the Town. The Board of Finance may designate a member to serve on such committees.

The Board designates each member to represent the Town on various boards and commissions as ex-officio or non voting members. In addition, members may represent the Board on committees that require BOF representation.
