NOTARY PUBLIC

The Town Clerks' Office provides to the residents of Madison the free services of a Notary Public during office hours. Non-residents will be charged a fee of $2.00 per stamp. We will notarize most documents with the proper proof of identification with the exception of a Will. Because of the liability, we have been advised by the State not to notarize Wills. Remember, the purpose of a Notary Public is to witness the signing of said document, so do not sign anything until you appear in person.
