Learning opportunities for retired and
semi-retired citizens of Guilford and Madison!
Daytime, college level, academic programs designed to suit a variety of interests.
No prerequisites. No previous level of high
school or college education is required. All that is required is
interest and enthusiasm! Sign up by mail, in person at Guilford or Madison
Senior Service. Each course costs $10 regardless of number of
meeting times. Single session programs are included in the
membership fee ($20 for
April 1, 2008–August 31, 2009).
You must be a member in order to sign up for classes or presentations. Note: See the Senior Center Director (Guilford or Madison) for

VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION WEEK!
April 27-May 3, 2008
Calling all volunteers to the Senior Center. Each morning during Volunteer Appreciation week from 10:00 to 12:00 we invite our volunteers to an Open House. Tour the center; enjoy our programs & some refreshments. Each day brings a new salute to our valued volunteers who improve our lives.
A special luncheon to honor & show appreciation to our volunteers will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 @ 12:00 Noon in the Senior Café to thank our volunteers for the many hours of service to our Center. Call the Café to order lunch. 245-5686.

AARP TAX ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
Assistance in filing tax returns will be available @ the Depot on Thursdays;
by appointment; 1:30-5:30 PM. IRS certified tax counselors will assist Seniors with preparation & filing of their 2007 federal & state tax returns. All documents of income, deductible expenses, & your 2006 tax return, must be brought to the scheduled appointment. Call the Depot at 245-5627 to pre-register for an Income Tax Computation Appointment; beginning February 1, 2008.
