Benefits Specialist
Town of Madison/Madison Public Schools

                       
The Town of Madison/Madison Public Schools has an opening for a full-time (40 hours) position of Employee Benefits Specialist.  The qualified person will be responsible for all activity related to the administration of the benefits programs as they relate to the employees of the Town of Madison and Madison Public Schools.  Enrollment, preparation for orientation programs, billing and processing of applications is part of the daily requirement.  Experience with reporting and tracking information for COBRA, FMLA, HIPPA regulations and deciphering union contracts is necessary. The qualified candidate must have experience working in an educational setting. Phoenix HRIS.  Computer experience (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook), telephones, copiers and other office equipment is also necessary. Hourly rate range is from $14.39/hour to $20.22/hour with an excellent benefit package.  N-7. Non-Union Position.

Minimum qualifications for this position include graduation from High School or equivalent, 5 years related experience, computer skills, and excellent communications techniques.

Administrative Assistant for Human Resources

Full Time

The Town of Madison/Madison Public Schools has an immediate opening for a full time Administrative Assistant in the Human Resources Department.  The qualified candidate will have knowledge of basic office procedures for answering telephones, filing, taking messages, utilizing a copier, adding machine, computer with spreadsheet (Excel) and word processing (Word) capability.  Must be able to prepare reports and maintain files.  Will be responsible for maintaining attendance records. 

The Administrative Assistant position is a full time position scheduled at 40 hours per week. Hourly pay range is from $14.39 to $20.22 per hour with a six month Probation Period.  The successful candidate will enjoy an excellent benefits package.  N-7 Non-Union position.

Minimum qualifications for this position include graduation from High School or equivalent, computer skills, and excellent communications techniques.   Municipal government experience, Educational setting experience and experience in Human Resources is preferred.
