7/2/10 Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Regional Energy Manager
 

The towns of Branford, Durham, Guilford, Killingworth, Madison and Westbrook have received two years of ARRA funding to retain the services of a regional energy manager. The manager will lead the planning and management of energy conservation projects within each town taking full advantage of incentive programs and other sources of project funding to reduce town energy expenditures and their associated contribution to climate change. The application process for this professional services agreement will consist of a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) submittal. RFQs will be accepted electronically only--until July 26, 2010, 2 PM.

Interested parties are requested to email the Town of Madison: UmileR@madisonct.org as soon as possible with their intent to bid. A thorough background review will be conducted with an emphasis on verifying accomplishments. EOE/MF/AA

   
  Police Applicants
  ALL Police applicant testing is conducted by the Law Enforcement Council. Prospective applicants should contact the Law Enforcement Council for testing information. Prospective applicants who have completed testing and are selected for further consideration will be contacted to submit additional information.
   
1/22/2010 Per Diem – Bus Driver, Senior Services Department
 

The Town of Madison is currently taking applications for a per diem position of bus-driver at the Senior Services Department. The qualified person will be responsible for operating a bus and the transportation of senior citizens and others to various locations. Experience and knowledge of proper safe driving regulations necessary. The applicant must have a valid CDL license with the proper endorsements and participant in the drug consortium program. Minimum hourly rate is $13.80.

Minimum qualifications for this position include graduation from High School, GED, 1 year related experience or equivalent.
