The Madison Police Department is pleased to announce its two newest hires: David Flores graduated from the New Haven Police Academy on October 3, 2014 after spending more than six months in training. He will continue his field training with assigned Department Field Training Officers for fourteen weeks.

Justin Graziano was sworn in on Thursday, October 16, 2014. He began training at the Milford Police Academy on Friday, October 17, 2014 with an anticipated graduation date of May, 2015.

On September 11, 2014, the Police Officer Standards and Training Council (POSTC) awarded the Madison Police Department their Tier III Certificate of Accreditation. This award is a separate honor bestowed upon the Madison Police Department in addition to the CALEA Advanced Law Enforcement Accreditation awarded on March 24, 2014.
The State Accreditation process required the Madison Police Department to comply with “State-specific” standards not covered as part of the CALEA process.
These two honors indicate Madison Police Department’s commitment to adhere to the most rigorous standards in law enforcement and to provide the highest the quality of services to the Town of Madison.
