Jason Dolce to Serve Madison as Patrol Officer

Groton resident Jason Dolce recited his Oath of Office and was sworn in on March 24, 2008. He is a graduate of Stonington High School and attended Three Rivers Community College pursuing studies in Criminal Justice. Jason will start his 22-week officer training at the Police Officer Standards Training Academy (POST) in Meriden on March 31, 2008. Following his graduation from the Academy, he will receive approximately 14 weeks of field training with a certified Madison Field Training Officer and will begin serving as a patrol officer for the Town of Madison.

Madison Welcomes Officer Rebecca Ricciutti to its Ranks

The Madison Department of Police Services is pleased to add Officer Rebecca Ricciutti to its ranks. Officer Ricciutti is a native of Madison, and a graduate of Daniel Hand High School and the University of New Haven with a Master’s Degree in Forensic Science. She received her training as a police officer from the Federal Police Corps in Salt Lake City and has served as an officer for four years with the South Windsor Department of Police Services. After very brief orientation and procedural training, Officer Ricciutti will begin serving as a patrol officer within a couple of weeks of her swearing in date of January 18, 2008.

Madison Native Justin Stysly Sworn in as Member of Madison Police Department

Madison resident Justin Stysly recited his Oath of Office and was sworn in as Madison’s newest recruit on January 22, 2008. He is a graduate of Daniel Hand High School and is very close to completing his studies for a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Eastern Connecticut University. Justin will start his 22-week officer training at the Police Officer Standards Training Academy (POST) in Meriden on February 4, 2008. Following his graduation from the Academy, he will receive approximately 14 weeks of field training with a certified Madison Field Training Officer and will begin serving as a patrol officer for the Town of Madison.
