"OATH OF OFFICE

“I do solemnly swear that I will bear true faith and allegiance
to the United States of America and the State of Connecticut
and that I will support the Constitution and Laws thereof.

I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all duties
incumbent upon me as a Police Officer of the Town of Madison.

I agree to obey and be bound by such rules and regulations
as are or may be adopted by the Chief of Police
and/or the Board of Police Commissioners, so help me God.”
