2. Discuss and take action on proclaiming the week of March 7, 2010 as Girl Scout Week in the Town of Madison.

4. Discuss and take action on video proposal from CGI Communications, Inc.

5. Update from Land Acquisition Program Study Committee.

6. Update on Social Services.

7. Comments from Chief Drumm on recent criminal activity (burglaries) in the Town of Madison.

8. Discuss and take action on request to purchase two (2) off-lease vehicles for use by the Police Department.

9. Discuss and take action to discontinue the public road, Bridge Street, pursuant to §13 a-49 of the General Statutes and to approve the following Resolution:

Resolved, that pursuant to Connecticut General Statute §13a-49, the public road known as Bridge Street, and more particularly described below, is discontinued; and further resolved, that the matter is referred to Town Meeting for approval as set forth in the statue. The portion of Bridge Street to be discontinued runs from Fort Path Road to Copse Road and is more particularly shown on a map to be filed in the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Madison entitled "Property Survey for the Town of Madison Fort Path Road, Copse Road and Bridge Street, Madison, CT", Sheet 1 of 1, Scale 1"=40, Date: August 19, 2008, Prepared by: Anderson Engineering & Surveying Associates.

10. Discuss and take action on calling a Special Town Meeting for Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 7 p.m. in the Upper Level of the Memorial Town Hall for the following purpose:

1. To consider and take action to discontinue the public road, Bridge Street, pursuant to §13a-49 of the General Statutes. The portion of Bridge Street to be discontinued runs from Fort Path Road to Copse Road and is more particularly shown on a map filed in the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Madison entitled "Property Survey for the Town of Madison Fort Path Road, Copse Road and Bridge Street, Madison, CT", Sheet 1 of 1, Scale: 1"=40, Date: August 19, 2008, Prepared by: Anderson Engineering & Surveying Associates.

2. To consider and take action on Special Appropriation request of $123,000 for Employee Benefits/Severance.

11. Discuss and take action on status change for Ms. Lisa DelPeschio, from part-time to full-time Communications Technician. $20.27/hour/Union Local UPSEU.

12. Discuss possible time line for possible updates to current Senior Tax Relief Programs.

13. Discuss and take action on special appropriation request of $5,823.05 from Police Department for funding required for costs associated with police chief search (medical, psychological and polygraph testing, background investigation).

14. The following line transfers are designated as routine and appropriate for approval as a single action by the Board of Selectmen, if so desired. A Board member may request removal of any line transfer item from the consent agenda for review and discussion.

Motion: to approve Line Transfers totaling $35,270
