Health Department

The Madison Health Department along with the Water Pollution control Authority, Office of Emergency Management, Youth and Family Services, Senior Services, and Visiting Nurse Association, work together to prevent illness and promote health and safety in the Town of Madison.

The public health services provided ensure that we have water that is safe to drink, sewage systems to protect our community from diseases, clean restaurants to protect us from food-borne illnesses, clean and safe schools, and immunizations to prevent epidemics and preparation against various potential natural and man-made disasters.

This network of people, working together, forms a tailored system that serves the citizens of Madison in an effective and efficient way.
