2009 Search Institute Youth Survey Data

The Madison Alcohol and Drug Education Coalition, M.A.D.E. in Madison, is an old fashioned community coalition of parents, community and faith-based organizations, elected officials, business and social service professionals, staff and administration from Town Departments. The mission of the coalition is to create a safe and drug free community that values its youth and is empowered to encourage development of those relationships, experiences, values, attitudes and attributes that young people need for future success.

Parents are a child’s first and most important teacher. Yet influences come through a myriad of experiences and people and M.A.D.E. in Madison recognizes that each of its members, each sector of community that is involved, and each individual member of this community plays a role in shaping the future of all youth.
