Donate your old cell phones and ink cartridges!

Dear Neighbor:

Madison Explorer Post is conducting a cell phone recycling fundraiser. There’s nothing to buy. We are simply asking you to protect the environment by donating your used cell phones and ink jet cartridges. Your used cell phones may be tax deductible and will be recycled in accordance with EPA regulations or refurbished and sold. 100% of the proceeds will help fund the Explorers trip to the National Law Enforcement Explorer Conference in Flagstaff, Arizona in July 2006.

For Your Information 

● Your used cell phone could be worth money that will support our cause.

● Your used phone contains hazardous substances that can pollute the air, soil, and drinking water if not recycled properly.  One cell phone can contaminate 132,000 liters of water!

Call us for more information or drop your phones off at Madison Police Department, Clinton Police Department, Island Ave School, Kathleen Ryerson Elementary School, and Dr. Brown Middle School

Please do not include accessories such as charges and earpieces. They can be recycled locally.
