CT Energy Efficiency Fund

The Town of Madison, Connecticut has made an important investment in energy savings!

The lighting in the gymnasium at Daniel Hand High School was recently upgraded to energy efficient fixtures with motion. The financial incentive provided by the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund (CEEF) helped to complete the project. The energy-saving benefits will continue on, year after year. Not only will Madison save money, the town's participation contributes to the stability of Connecticut's electric grid and reduces negative impacts on the environment.

Below, First Selectman Fillmore McPherson receives the incentive check in the amount of $6,473 from Dave Rackie of Connecticut Light & Power. They were joined by Manager of Facilities Bill McMinn and Director of Finance Dotty Bavin.
