Daniel Hand High School Girl's Outdoor Track members were recognized at the Board of Selectmen on September 27, 2010. They won the National Scholastic Outdoor Track and Field Championship 4x800 Meter Relay in North Carolina, breaking the record by 10 seconds.

Team members include: Malin Althin, Sarah Cotton, Meghan Derken, Jennifer Hahne and Megan Lynch. Coach was Mike Simeone.
