Rent The Depot!

When The Depot is not serving as the home of Madison's Senior Center, it may be rented for meetings and events by groups or agencies, provideing they meet specific town residency, use and attendance requirements. Use of The Depot is free for nonprofits, town agencies, boards, commissions, and civic organizations.

Facility use requests are made through the Department of Senior Services office (located in The Depot).

About The Depot

The Depot is open Monday-Friday and closed on holidays. There is a 5 hour maximum rental time, inclduing time needed for set-up and clean up.  Exceptions to this must have approval. All events/meetings must be over and cleaned-up from by 9:00 PM to allow maintainance access for cleaning and preparing The Depot for the next day's Senior activities.

There are three rooms available to be rented when not already in use/reserved:

  • Lower Level - Capacity 50 people
  • Upper Level - Capacity 25 people
  • Porch Room - Capacity 8-10 people

There are kitchen facilities available for use but food is restricted to the lower level of the facility. Tables and chairs are also available but set-up and break-down is the responsibility of the renting group. The building must be left clean and trash must be removed from the facility. All doors must be locked upon exiting the building and lights should be turned off.

A $5.00 refundable key deposit is required at time of key pickup, on the day of the event, before 4:00 pm. Key may be returned the next business day following the event.

Note: No Alcohol Is Allowed In The Depot per Town Ordinance.
