Town Hall Hours and Services

New Office Hours 1-1-2023

Effective January 1, 2023 the Town Hall will have new Public Hours of Operation:

Monday – Thursday: 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. 

Friday: 8:30 a.m. – noon

Approved by the Board of Selectmen on Tuesday, December 6, 2022.

We still strongly encourage residents to access departmental online services as much as possible in lieu of visiting Town Hall, and to continue to use available drop boxes located across from the Police Department. Please note that social distancing measures will be in place.

  • All visitors must pass a COVID health screening questionnaire and agree to follow the posted procedures for face masks and proper distancing in order to enter our building or offices.  
      • Waiting room limit of two persons at time from the same household.  When the waiting room is occupied, visitors may be asked to wait in a separate room, or if necessary outside of the building.
  • In-person appointments as scheduled prior to arrival

Unscheduled visits (walk-ins) during regular business hours are welcome however may be subject to change due to public health guidance. Visitors without appts will be greeted at our main door during regular business hours, even if public access to the building is again restricted. Efforts will be made to ascertain the needs of visitors and our staff will act accordingly.


This list is to help clarify which town services will be provided during the restriction of public access to Town Departments during the Coronavirus / COVID-19 emergency.

Thank you in advance for your understanding at this uncertain time.  Appointments will be granted at the discretion of the departments and non-essential business may have to wait until the Town is fully open to the public again.
