Charge:
It is anticipated that the Polson Middle School and Daniel Hand High School HVAC Building Committee will, without limitation:
Select the Architect and/or engineering firms and assist with the preparation of schematic drawings and outline specifications and is authorized to file for grant applications with the State of Connecticut or any other sources offering reimbursements or grants
Evaluate all construction bids received and pursue any required bid clarifications.
Discuss, act, and oversee the construction and Grants of the HVAC IAQ updates at the Polson middle school as well as the Daniel Hand high school. This may include other areas of the school during the HVAC improvements such as the Polson Auditorium.
Review design documents to evaluate, refine and update cost estimates and verify that the plans fulfill the purpose of the HVAC IAQ updates at the Polson middle school as well as the Daniel Hand high school.
Coordinate communication between the Polson Middle School and Daniel Hand High School HVAC Building Committee, the Board of Selectmen and Board of Education to keep all parties up-to-date on developments.
Upon completion of the project, the Polson Middle School and Daniel Hand High School HVAC Building Committee shall make a complete report to the BOS
Membership Composition:
The Committee shall consist of the following people to be appointed by the BOS:

- Galen Cawley, Board of Education, Vice-Chair
- Jean Fitzgerald, Board of Finance, Vice-Chair
