Jonathan Pardo moved to Madison in 1981 and graduated from Daniel Hand High School in 1983 and after high school enlisted in the USAF serving in Germany and Arkansas as a firefighter, moving back to Madison in 1988. Jon and his wife Renee were married in 1992 and we have two daughters, Makayla 14 and Alyssa 11. Renee is also from Madison, she graduated from DHHS in 1985 and is a teacher at Island Avenue School. They currently live on Green Hill Road.
Jon began his career in the Madison Police Department in 1988 as a Community Service Officer, then Dispatcher and was hired as a full-time Police Officer in 1990. While working as a Police Officer he returned to school and received his Associates Degree from Middlesex Community Technical College, a Bachelors Degree from Southern Connecticut State University and a Masters Degree from Southern Connecticut State University in Political Science with a concentration in Public Administration. Additionally, in 2010, Jon attended the FBI National Academy.
In 2005, Jon was promoted to Sergeant and in 2010 he was promoted to Captain. Over the years Jon's duties included Training Officer, Field Training Officer, Youth Officer, Evidence Officer, Background Investigator and Records Officer. He is currently the Patrol Commander. Jon has also served as the police liaison on many youth related boards in Madison.
