State Fuel Assistance Program
The State Fuel Assistance Program is for participants heating with oil, other consumable fuel or electric heating. One family member must be aged 60 or over, or disabled. Proof of income, rent, and utility expenses must be presented at time of application.

Furnace Replacement Program
The Furnace Replacement Program is an incentive program for Connecticut households to replace their existing residential furnaces or boilers with more energy efficient models. A qualified applicant can receive up to a $500 rebate for the purchase and installation of replacement natural gas, propane or oil furnaces and boilers between July 1, 2007, and July 1, 2017.

Eversource offers a number of programs. The Home Energy Solutions - Income-Eligible (HES-IE), formerly the WRAP program, administered by Energize CT provides valuable weatherization measures to help renters or homeowners reduce their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient.

The Matching Payment Program provides year-round electric service and possible forgiveness of back balances to low-income Eversource electric heating customers who have past-due balances.

The NUSTART program is designed to help low- and fixed-income Eversource customers maintain year-round electric service.

Connecticut Energy Assistance Program
The Connecticut Energy Assistance Program helps families pay for their heating and energy bills using Federal LIHEAP funding. Eligible applicants include those who receive cash from the State, food stamps or state administered general assistance, or whose annual household income is at or below 150% the federal poverty guideline.
