Food and Toy Drive 

The Madison Police Department’s annual Food Drive to benefit local families will be accepting donations now through December 31, 2022.  

We are accepting non-perishable food donations, frozen turkeys and chickens, butter, bathroom tissue, detergent, shampoo, conditioner, bars of soap and toothpaste for families in need.

Non-perishable food suggestions: stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, green beans, peas, carrots and potatoes, canned fruit, tuna, stew, chili, ravioli, pasta sauce, mac and cheese, rice, pancake mix, boxed oats, syrup, cereal, kids juice boxes and snack pouches, 

All food items, including frozen turkeys, frozen chickens and personal hygiene items may be dropped off at the Police Department located at 9 Campus Drive 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Food drive, variety of donated food products

The Madison Police Department’s Toy Fund and Food Drive to benefit local families and the Yale New Haven Hospital Children’s Toy Closet will be accepting donations now through December 31. Toys, board games, books, gift certificates, etc. for children through the age of 16 are needed. All new, unwrapped gifts or monetary donations and food items may be dropped off at the Police Department located at 9 Campus Drive 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
