Food and Toy Drive 2017

The Madison Police Department is once again conducting its Annual Food & Toy Drive.

Donations can be dropped off 24/7 at:
Madison Police Department
9 Campus Drive
Toy donations will be accepted through December 21, 2017
Food Donations will be accepted through December 31, 2017

Food Donations

We will be collecting FROZEN TURKEYS AND NON-PERISHABLE FOOD items as well as PET SUPPLIES, laundry soap, personal hygiene items and baby diapers; all of which will benefit local families. As we approach the Christmas Holiday, Madison Police Officers and Staff will be delivering frozen turkeys for inclusion into the Madison Food Bank’s holiday food baskets distributed to Madison residents in need. The remaining food and frozen turkeys will be donated to other area food banks and soup kitchens.

Toy Donations

The UNWRAPPED TOY DONATIONS will first be distributed to Madison families in need on December 20th and 21st. The remaining toys will be transported to the Yale New Haven Children's Hospital to benefit the Toy Closet Program on December 22nd. The Toy Closet Program was established by WTNH News Anchor Ann Nyberg to benefit children receiving care at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital and provides the patient and/or their siblings with joy and comfort during their recovery at the hospital.
