MYFS Clinical Services Overview

Madison Youth & Family Services is committed to promoting the social and emotional well-being of its children, youth, and their families.  At some point in our lives, we are all faced with difficult situations that challenge our family unit.  Our specialty is working with children, adolescents, and young adults (up to age 21) and their families.  Children who are struggling with transition issues, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma and/or grief and loss can make home life more stressful.  We work from a strength-based, systemic perspective.  We are here to help you and your family by providing the support and guidance needed for resiliency.

Our Clinical Services include individual counseling for children age 0-21, family therapy, parent support counseling, and psycho-educational support groups.  Services are confidential and provided by master level and licensed mental health professionals. Clinical Services may be obtained in our offices on the green or in select schools.

Our agency prides itself on its ability to deliver timely responses to phone inquiries and fulfilling treatment requests.  Our clinicians value the importance of case management and the delivery of wrap around services for families that need more support between appointments.  We will gladly collaborate with pediatricians, medication management providers, school personnel and/or any other person you give us written permission to speak to in order to ensure your child’s needs are being met across environments.

We strongly believe that everyone should have access to mental health services and work with families to eliminate barriers to treatment.  We utilize a sliding fee scale and accept most major insurances. If your insurance deductible if quite high or your family’s unique circumstances make a sliding scale cost prohibitive, please talk to us.    Simply put, we would never turn anyone away due to their inability to pay.

Madison Youth & Family Services is well connected within the community and with other surrounding shoreline Youth Service Bureaus.  This allows us to quickly mobilize clinicians and therapy dogs when a large community response to a tragedy is needed.   We also value the relationships with our shoreline colleagues and have provided reciprocal clinical support to neighboring towns when tragedy has struck their respective communities.
