The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Madison hereby gives notice that it will conduct a special town meeting of the electors and citizens qualified to vote in town meetings of the Town of Madison, Connecticut, will be held in Town Campus Room A on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. for the following purposes:
To approve the donation of 2.35 acres located at Mungertown Road, Map 56, Lot 1 and 6.5 acres located at Green Hill Road, Map 64 Lot 48 from the Town of Madison to the Madison Land Conservation Trust for open space.
To approve the special appropriation of $315,000 to the Capital and Nonrecurring Expenditure Fund for Phase III of the Madison Center Project pending Board of Finance approval.
To approve the special appropriation of $120,000 to the Capital and Nonrecurring Expenditure Fund for the Stage Lighting project at Daniel Hand High School pending Board of Finance approval.
