The legal voters of the Town of Madison are hereby warned and notified that the Board of Selectmen will conduct a Public Hearing on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. in Room A at Madison Town Campus, 8 Campus Drive and via Zoom for the purpose of:

  1. reviewing a draft Ordinance on the prohibition of Cannabis establishments in the Town of Madison.
  2. reviewing a draft Flood Plain Ordinance.

**The proposed Draft Flood Plain Ordinance has been extensively modified to reflect current state building codes and the state’s Flood Plain Ordinance model. Due to these substantial changes, a redlined version is not currently available. Note that updates have been made to Section 2.0 Definitions; Cost, Market Value, and Substantial Improvements. If you have specific questions relating to the revised ordinance, please email lehetj@madisonct.org. A public hearing will be held on Monday, April 24th at Town Campus Room A and on zoom. Public comment can be submitted in advance directly to the Board at bos@madisonct.org
