  1. Disaster Planning Public Meeting. The Town of Madison in conjunction with the South Central Regional Council of Governments (SCRCOG) and its municipalities are preparing an update to the Multi-Jurisdiction Hazard Mitigation Plan. The purpose of this plan is to identify and assess natural hazard risks (such as flooding, winter storms, and hurricanes) and determine how to best minimize or manage those risks. During this public meeting, the contents of the plan will be introduced and members of the public will have the opportunity to discuss ideas regarding risk reduction.
