MADISON INLAND WETLANDS AGENCY

Madison, CT

At a meeting held on August 7, 2017, the Agency took the following action:

17-13.  Island Avenue.  Map 27, Lot 45.  Owner:  Mary Laursen Revocable Trust; Applicant:  Atlas Companies.  Regulated Activity Permit to allow placement of drainage culvert/pipe and fill within a delineated wetland/watercourse to enable driveway and utility access; also to allow placement of a portion of dwelling and parking, drainage and lawn within the 100 ft. wetland review area.  Approved.

Hammonasset River at Papermill Dam north of the intersection of Green Hill Road and Fawn Brook Circle.   Applicant:  The Nature Conservancy.  Request for approval of As-Of-Right activity under Sec. 4.1a, and 4.2a of the Regulations to relocate stones from former Papermill Dam to allow fish passage.  Approved.
