Notice is hereby given that the Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 7:30 p.m., Meeting Room A, Town Campus, 8 Campus Drive, to consider the following:


18-08.  1250 Durham Road.  E. C. Scranton Memorial Library.  Map 134, Lot 13. RU-1District.  Special Exception Permit application for the library to lease a 2-story, 6,300 sq. ft. building owned by Madison Earth Care for the purpose of providing public library service while the current library building is undergoing renovation and expansion.  

18-11+CSP.  63 Middle Beach Road.  Map 16, Lots 85 & 86.  R-4 District.  Owner:  Robert F. Schumann; Applicant:  63 Middle beach Road, LLC.  Application for deposit of approximately 2,000 cubic yards of earth fill material.

18-12+CSP.  168-178 Cottage Road.  Map 32, Lots 9, 10, 11, 12, 14.  C & R-2 Districts.  Owners:  Marine Ventures III, LLC & 168 Cottage Road LLC.  Special Exception Permit application for a mixed-use development of 37 2-bedroom residential townhomes, retail, offices, and marina.  Coastal Site Plan required.

18-13 OSCD.  Rear of 318 Horsepond Road.  Map 80, Lot 19.  RU-2 District.  Owner/Applicant:  Horsepond Estates, LLC.  Petition for Zone Boundary Change for an Open space Conservation District (OSCD) to divide 22.10 acres into 16 lots and open space.

18-16.  Regulation Amendment.  Applicant:  Davis Realty LLC.  Petition for Regulation Amendment to clarify that "building height" as referenced in Sec. 6.2.3 (h) refers to "Average Building Height" as defined in Sec. 19.2 and (ii) to allow by Special Exception, an Average Building Height up to 45 feet in the Downtown District.

18-17 D/DVD.  45 Wall Street.  Map 38, Lot 61.  D/DVD District.  Owner/Applicant:  Gulick Properties LLC.  Special Exception Permit and Site Plan Review request for nine (9) apartments in the D/DVD District and an increase of maximum height from 30 ft. to 36 ft. in the Downtown Village District,  and an increase in coverage from 25% to 29.4%.
