In light of the continued power outage affecting 373 remaining homes in Madison, and the fact that Eversource is unable to accurately predict when power will be restored, the Town of Madison will keep the Town Gym open tonight as a shelter and warming station.  If no one shows up by 10:00 pm, we will assume that there is no need.

This is a very localized outage affecting homes in the downtown area from Island Avenue to Jannas Lane and Middle Beach Road to Copse Road.  If power does not return by Tuesday morning, we will arrange for water to be available in the area.
