This committee is currently accepting applications from Madison-based small businesses, non-profit organizations, and Town service departments to assist in their recovery efforts from the COVID-19 public health emergency. Examples of local organizations awarded ARPA funding include: the American Legion, Rockland Preserve Pollinator Garden, Madison Ambulance Association, Madison Cultural Arts, Madison Hose, and North Madison Fire. Please visit the ARPA Committee website for more information on the committee and the grant award process.

Committees & Commissions

Madison has over 60 boards and commissions run by resident volunteers who help make our Town such a great place to live. The Town currently has vacancies on several important boards and commissions, including Planning & Zoning Commission, Conservation Commission, Economic Development Commission, Inland Wetlands Agency, Senior Citizen Commission, and Shellfish Commission, among others. Please consider dedicating some of your volunteer time by serving your community. If you are interested in learning more about vacancies or the application process, please visit the town website, or contact my assistant Jaclyn Lehet at lehetj@madisonct.org for more information.

Absentee Ballot Applications Available

The Town Clerk would like to remind residents that the 2022 State Elections are scheduled for Tuesday, November 8th.  Although Absentee Ballots are not available until October 7th, Absentee Ballot Applications are available in the Town Clerk’s office or from the website.
