On Friday, Feb 24, 2023 at approximately 10:48 hours, the Madison Police Department responded to a report of a bank robbery at the Essex Savings Bank located at 99 Durham Road in the Town of Madison, Connecticut. Investigators from the Madison Police Department are investigating the incident and are seeking help from the public in identifying the suspect.
Suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'6" tall, weighing 160 pounds with a tan complexion. The suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt (possibly Oakland Raiders) with a black face mask and gray sweatpants. The suspect passed a note to the teller and no weapon was displayed or implied. An undisclosed amount of money was taken from the bank.
The suspect left the scene in a maroon in color Subaru station wagon with a tan colored front bumper traveling northbound on Durham Road (Route 79) possibly onto Interstate 95 in an unknown direction.
