Jason Engelhardt, received the ABCD award (Above and Beyond the Call of Duty) for the Singletracks of Rockland he and his crew designed and built at Rockland Preserve. It has been recognized as one of the ten best in the nation and the best in Connecticut. 
Accompanying Jason at the awards ceremony were Scot Erskine, director of Beach and Rec; Linda Lasance, assistant director; Carrie Gazda, recreation supervisor; Joe Oslander, chair, Rockland Preserve Committee and First Selectman, Tom Banisch.
