Tropical Storm Fay
As tropical storm Fay travels up the eastern seaboard, we can expect tropical storm conditions along portions of the CT coast today and tonight. A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for our area which means we can expect 40 to 60 mph winds. Minor coastal flooding is possible along our shoreline as well as the possibility of isolated tornadoes. Rain is expected to start around noon today with heavy rain arriving between 2 and 4 PM. Tropical force winds are expected to arrive this evening between 6 and 8 PM tonight.
Please take time to secure loose items in your yard that have potential to be thrown around by wind or rising water, and also prepare for isolated power outages and tree damage.
Stay safe and healthy Madison.
